“Who designs Hawaiʻi?” is an educational program that gathers design professionals across disciplines to share their experiences with K-12 students.

In response to the challenges posed by COVID-19 learn-at-home conditions, UHCDC and HAF hosted FREE virtual afterschool sessions for keiki ages 7-11, every Tuesday and Thursday in September and October of 2020. Approximately 70 students participated in the program from nearly 25 schools across the state. The program was supported by 22 volunteer presenters from architecture, landscape architecture, interiors, engineering, and construction who shared their professional experiences and led short hands-on activities.
