Hoʻoulu ʻĀina Olo Koa Woodshop

Hoʻoulu ʻĀina‘s Native Hawaiian reforestation project, Koa ʻĀina, involves the harvest of large invasive species to make room for native species to grow. UHCDC assisted Hoʻoulu ʻĀina in the conceptual development of a woodshop and mill where they will engage community members in repurposing the invasive lumber into objects that bring waiwai (true wealth) back into the community.
