I am a clinically-trained research psychologist and data scientist working in both the academic and public sector. My work covers the intersection of neural science, cognitive science, and clinical science with interests that are interdisciplinary and translational in nature. The overarching goal of my work is to elucidate the brain-behavioral basis of impulsive and compulsive decision making, and then utilize this basic knowledge to better characterize, prevent, and intervene on substance dependence and/or mental illness in justice-involved populations.
